The Collective is an opportunity to present the new projects and residents of the cultural season. This edition brings together the work of four artists.

« Nuit Blanche » reveals the duo Les Canailles. Fascinated by storytelling, the artists begin with a study of the “Popular Tales and Legends of Morocco” collected and translated by Dr. Légey. It is then that the stages of their narration are born thanks to their graphic universe as well as their palette of colours and forms.

In the continuity of his work on the theme of exile, Thibault Laget-Ro presents a series of paintings on canvas relating the recent march of Honduran migrants, « The Hondurans ».

Driven by her research on the semantics of thread, Valérie Newland unveils her new project, « Prototypes ». She delivers a sensitive work in which the nature of the materials used reflects an ambivalence intimately linked to our human nature.

In immersion at Jardin Rouge, Ignacio Lobera deepens his research on the stereotypes linked to the image of the femme fatale. For his first residency, the artist imagined the series « Dos Rombos », a kind of shadow theatre, in order to explore through drawing the paradoxes of the local culture.
