Born in 1992.
He lives and works in Chichaoua (Morocco).
Kamal Saki, a young graduate of the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, looks at our contemporary world. In his pictorial practice, he questions our relationship to time.
Like an alchemist, the artist oxidizes and plays with matter to the point of erasure. We discover in his work human crowds, animals, ordinary objects suspended in the void and the silence. A philosophical and social reading is essential… We must contemplate his works at length to feel the erosion of our human condition.
His work is featured in the Banque Populaire art collection in Morocco. He also exhibited at Galerie 38 and Galerie GVCC in Casablanca.
