A self-taught artist, it is only after a few years spent in the world of finance, that Mohamed Said Chair traded his suit to devote himself full time to his passion.

« My Dear Friend » celebrates the meeting between two men, two artists, two generations; between Mohamed Said Chair and Skunkdog. The young Tangierese and the punk from Marseille met at Jardin Rouge in September 2018 and participated in the XXL programme, the foundation’s iconic annual event. Skunkdog quickly became Mohamed’s first model, who, through a particular acuity that does not want to hide any detail, presents a series of hyperrealistic portraits.

Fabrics, chiaroscuro, anatomical precision… he uses all the classical academic techniques to probe human nature through its carnal envelope. A hero of his time, the model is locked in an aging anatomy. By revealing the raw intimacy of bodies, the artist imposes a relationship without borders.
