The Montresso* Art Foundation presents in its contemporary art space part of its permanent collection under the theme Back in USSR, a symbol of the singular history of the place.

In 2009, young Russian street artists “invaded” during the holidays what were still ruined chicken coops. With them, the place took on its name by chance: Jardin Rouge. A garden in homage to the riads, red for the red city but above all for « prekrasnaya », the beautiful, the magnificent in Russian.

Russian artists, emblematic of the creation of the site, are honoured with works by Vitaly Rusakov, Denis Tevekov, Vitaly Tsarenkov alias SY and ZMOGK.
