Kévin Monot uses the monotype process to pursue his research into the use of new pictorial techniques. As an expression of a renewed energy, his work process is marked by a fragmentation of the act of painting. It is about extracting the sign. Through a gestural painting, almost calligraphic, the artist expresses all the freedom of his own graphic language.
He has been exhibiting regularly since 2011 in France and abroad. He participated in the Jeune Création 2012, the Talent Contemporain 2013, and the Emy-Roeder-Preis 2014 and the Novembre à Vitry 2017 prizes.
