Through the prism of his own gaze, FENX narrates a part of his intimate life and alludes to the social and cultural context of our time. He simply retranscribes the emotions and the life of a child of the 80s. A mixture of Japaneseisation, the American dream, skateboarding, memories of a privileged youth and the realities of his current life, which he mixes with the influences of artists he admires such as Lichtenstein, Wesselman, Wool, Torres Garcia or Motherwell.

Eroticism is present in FENX’s work, which mainly emphasises the lines of the mouth, breasts, hips and thighs. The artist captures the beauty of women in their simplest form, highlighting the strong symbols of femininity rather than the face. The muses used as models evoke a shared intimacy.
